TIME AND TIDE : studies of the shorelines of British Columbia.

Photographers living in a coastal community are provided with a visual bounty and our practices are often impacted by the shifting landscape of coastal waters. The tidal interplay provides a rich, ever-changing palette of colour and form. So too, tidal rhythms fundamentally inform us of the passage of time and if one wanders the shore at low slack tide, a wondrous stillness can be observed before the cycle begins anew.
